Art from the Heart: an Art and Letter-Writing Workshop

An interactive art and writing workshop that you can do—guess where!? At your kitchen table (or on the floor, just not in a bathtub!)! I will help you through the creation of a little piece of art alongside a letter you will write for someone you love: your grandma, your boyfriend, your chiropractor—it doesn’t matter who you pick as long as you know you want to tell them you love them. It’s a simple workshop, for people of any age or skill-set, which I created with support and funding from the superheroes at AKIN COLLECTIVE (a Toronto-based arts organization that provides creative studio space as well as arts-based programming and community outreach projects with members like me!). The video is just over 20 minutes, and the workshop will take you anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete. Have fun, and let me know what you think! I'd love to see what you make.
